Is RS4 out? No. Nobody outside Jagex can play the new RuneScape MMO yet. It was revealed at RuneFest 2026 as an early project that is still a few years away, and no release date, beta or public playtest has been announced so far.

RS4 is not playable, and there is no public build. Jagex revealed it early on purpose, to involve players during development, but it has not said when or how that involvement starts.
Watch for Jagex explaining how players can get involved; it has promised that for 2027. The Register interest form on the official RS4 page is the official way to hear first.
No beta or playtest has been announced. The official RS4 page has a Register interest form that adds your email to Jagex's mailing list; it is not a test sign-up.
