Editorial Policy
Our editorial policy explains how RS4 Hub labels every claim, which sources can confirm a fact, how we use AI tools and how corrections are made. Every substantive change keeps a revision note.
How claims are labelled
- Confirmed: stated by Jagex in an official source we link.
- Not announced: Jagex has not answered the question yet. Silence is never treated as a denial.
- Speculative: a reasonable reading that Jagex has not confirmed. Clearly marked and never shown as fact.
- Contradicted: a claim that an official source says is wrong.
- Outdated: once true, since replaced by newer official information.
Sources
Only official Jagex sources can confirm a fact. Press reporting and community posts add context but never upgrade a claim on their own. Every source shows its publisher, its date when it has one, and the date we last checked it.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help draft, summarise or organise text. A person checks every claim against its source before it is published. AI is never used to fill in information Jagex has not announced.
Corrections
When an answer changes for a substantive reason, we record a revision note with the date. News updates keep their original publication date and show later changes in their revision history. To report an error, use the corrections page.
