RS4 Gets an Official YouTube Channel and Trailer
Jagex opened an official RS4 YouTube channel on 7 October 2026 and posted the 91-second announcement trailer there. It is the RuneFest teaser, not gameplay.
What changed
Jagex has given RS4 its own YouTube channel, @RuneScape4, under the name "RS4" with the line "A new adventure is coming." Its first upload, on 7 October 2026, is "RS4 | Official Announcement Trailer", 91 seconds long.
The official RS4 page links to the channel and now plays this upload in place of the video file it hosted at the reveal. Before 7 October, the only YouTube copies were reposts by news sites and fans.
What it means
RS4 now has a channel of its own, separate from the RuneScape and Old School channels. For anyone sharing or embedding the trailer, this upload is the official one; our RS4 trailer page now plays it.
Our reading: a dedicated channel is where new RS4 videos are most likely to appear first, but Jagex has not said what it will post there or when.
Still unknown
Whether gameplay footage is coming, and when. Jagex points to 2027 for more about the game.
